Donating Cards

Welcome to Donate Cards. We are a Federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity dedicated to gathering all types of cards you may have around the house that you are not using or planning to throw away. We redirect these cards to non-profit organizations and other groups and organizations that can use them. We literally collect any type of card that you have because if it’s a card, there is likely value in it for some organization or group out there.

If you have any old cards lying around the house or if you recently did a house cleaning and found an old pile of them, there are a number of different charities that would be interested in them. Organizations that help children can use a variety of different types of cards for the kids. Many art groups would love to have cards to use for their various art projects. Sometimes educational organizations can use them, such as teaching geography through postcards. There are countless ways that a donation of cards can help organizations gain resources that they can use without having to spend money for them.

Here are some of the types of cards that we collect that can help organizations and groups:

If you have any cards that you would rather see have a second life rather than end up in the trash, we would love to have the opportunity to find them a second life while helping quality organization is the process. Basically, if it’s a card of any kind, we can find a way to use it. Even if you don’t believe there is any value in it, we are pretty sure that we can find a way to leverage it to help out a charity or other organization in some way. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us¬†and we’ll be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

I have two drawers of used greeting cards that I would like to donate. If you are still accepting cards, do you want fronts only?

We are accepting cards. You do not need to remove the backs unless you want to (if they have personal messages that you’d rather others not see). Please let me know if you have any further questions
